We helped a 36 years old female with chronic back pain that was worsening by the day. She could not stand at the kitchen sink to wash dishes and was unable to cook for her family. Her pain was not improving with pain management. Through a minimally invasive, multi-level deformity correction surgery, her abnormal scoliotic curve was corrected without the need for an extended hospital stay or blood transfusions, which are often required in traditional open spine surgery. After surgery, this patient was able to discontinue usage of pain medications and regain her quality of life.
